I know how that is. At age 3 for about 6 months, Sean wore a stocking cap 23.5 hrs per day. He took it off for bath, but wore it the rest of the time. The good part was that he loved it so much, he never complained about how hot it must have been.
I’m lucky that most of the time when my kids “play snow” in the middle of summer, they usually only use mittens and scarves. And usually not in public.

Do not wear your flip-flops in the snow and then complain that your feet are cold.
