Thankfully, the guinea pigs in the bathtub was a suggestion, and I put a stop to it before it happened. No guinea pigs were harmed in the creation of this rule. 🙂
Glad to hear it! I have seen capybaras swimming at the Brasilia zoo, and since they’re related to guinea pigs, I imagine those probably can actually swim as well — but I wouldn’t want to be the one to test that. I don’t think I could bring myself to do mouth-to-mouth on a guinea pig if it turned out the internet scoop was wrong…
