Hey now, that’s us too! Do you know how many times I tell my son “I TOLD you not to pick her up/mess with her/antagonize her/etc” lol Come to think of it, when *I* was little, I vividly remember a few times I got popped right in the face by those claws LOL.
This happens to my 3-year-old all the time. Though I don’t always feel sorry for the cat either because she often climbs into his lap, apparently forgetting that she is about to be carried around by the head.
I’m replying nearly 2yrs after my previous post & said kid still bothers mentioned cats & still gets scratched & whines about needing a bandaid. Now he does it with his dog too (who has an underbite & very sharp top teeth lol) after sticking his fingers in his mouth… ya think an almost 7yo boy could figure out by repeated exposure that this doesn’t compute to a good result…
